Nigerian cyclist and humanitarian advocate, Emmiwuks, met with Ghana’s Honourable Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, as part of his ongoing solo bicycle journey from Nigeria to the United States.
The meeting, which also had other top Ghanaian officials in attendance, was marked by an emotional exchange as Emmiwuks shared his bold mission—raising awareness for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and orphans across Africa through his “Nigeria to United States of America on a bicycle” project.
Moved by his story, Hon. Gomashie pledged her support and declared, “Ghana is with you.” She also encouraged other leaders present to rally behind Emmiwuks and the cause he represents.
Taking to his Facebook page, Emmiwuks described the meeting as a milestone, expressing deep gratitude to popular Ghanaian YouTuber Wodemaya and a supporter identified as Goshers, for making the meeting possible.
“In that room, I felt seen. Heard. Supported,” he wrote. “As I prepare to leave Ghana, I do so fulfilled, strengthened, and deeply grateful. Africa is rising, one story at a time.”
Emmiwuks’ journey continues, but his message is already resonating—reminding Africans that unity, empathy, and action can change lives.
