San Francisco authorities are investigating the death of a woman found Thursday morning at the Fairmont Hotel, who is believed to be Victoria Jones, the daughter of Academy Award-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones.
According to a police source with direct knowledge of the investigation, the woman was discovered in a hallway of the hotel early Thursday. Officials have not yet confirmed her identity, which will be determined by the medical examiner.
Police say there is no suspicion of foul play at this time.
The Fairmont Hotel released a statement Friday expressing condolences:
“We are deeply saddened by an incident that occurred at the hotel on January 1, 2026. Our heartfelt condolences are with the family and loved ones during this very difficult time. The hotel team is actively cooperating and supporting police authorities within the framework of the ongoing investigation.”
