The family of late Nollywood actress, producer, and singer Allwell Ademola has announced her burial arrangements following her death on December 27, 2025, at the age of 49.
In a press statement shared by her colleagues, Rotimi Salami and Biola Adebayo, the family expressed gratitude to the public for their support, saying, “Good evening, everyone, and thank you all for standing strong with us in this difficult time. May the soul of our late colleague, Allwell Ademola, rest in peace, and may we be spared from sudden death.”
The statement also detailed the schedule of events planned to honour the late actress. According to the family, “Here is the program for the Service of Songs and Candle Night Procession on Thursday, January 8, 2026.” The Service of Songs will hold from “4:00 pm to 6:00 pm,” after which “candle night preparation starts immediately.”
The family further stated that “the candle night procession will take place from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, from LTV 8 to Oregun Junction and back to LTV.” This will be followed by an “Artiste Night,” with “closing remarks at 11:00 pm.”
For the burial, the statement read, “Burial service will take place on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos, by 10:00 am.” It added that “after the burial, we depart from the venue to our various homes.”
The family concluded by appreciating the continued support, saying, “Thank you all for your unwavering support and commitment.”
Allwell Ademola was widely respected in the Nigerian entertainment industry for her talent and dedication, and her passing has continued to draw emotional tributes from colleagues and fans alike.
