Veteran Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has publicly called out relationship therapist and entrepreneur Jaruma over a viral video involving his son, Michael Ike.

In a strongly worded post shared on his Instagram page, the actor expressed outrage over what he described as “disgusting videos” linked to Jaruma, which allegedly featured his son and also carried Emeka Ike’s name and image. He made it clear that he has no connection whatsoever with Jaruma or her brand and demanded that his name and pictures be taken down immediately.

“JARUMA! JARUMA!! JARUMA!!! What the hell is this?” Emeka Ike wrote, warning that he would not hesitate to take legal action if the content was not removed.
The actor went further to address his son directly, revealing deep frustration and disappointment over Michael’s life choices. According to Emeka Ike, he had enrolled his son in the university, but his mother later withdrew him while he was about to enter his second year, allegedly convincing him that education was a scam and pushing him into influencing, music, and acting.
Emeka Ike said he had wanted Michael to finish school first, just as he did before becoming an actor, insisting that education was never a punishment but a foundation. He added that he had made several efforts to secure a better future for his son, including arranging accommodation and opportunities abroad so he could school, work, and become independent.
“Is this how to go about it?” the actor questioned, lamenting that the son he once proudly wanted under his wings now appeared lost and associated with a brand he clearly disapproved of.
He also claimed that Michael had once told the press he wanted nothing to do with his father’s name, making the current situation even more painful for him. Emeka Ike described the viral video as embarrassing and far from the values he tried to instill in his son, stating that he believes both parties involved need rehabilitation.
The actor concluded his post by reaffirming his stance as a “decent man” who has worked hard to build his name and reputation, warning Jaruma to stop associating his image with her business. Despite the anger and disappointment expressed, Emeka Ike said he is still praying for his son to come back to his senses.
As of the time of this report, Jaruma has not publicly responded to the allegations or Emeka Ike’s demands.
