Only one week into 2026, and Nina Dobrev is already setting the tone for the year’s fashion moments.

The Vampire Diaries star turned heads on Thursday night when she stepped onto the red carpet at the Spotify x The Hollywood Reporter Nominees Night party in West Hollywood, held in celebration of the upcoming Golden Globe Awards. Among the many celebrities in attendance, it was Dobrev’s look that truly stole the spotlight.

The actress embraced full vintage glamour in a striking black-and-white gown from Hervé Léger’s Fall/Winter 1997 couture collection — a rare archival piece that felt both nostalgic and incredibly modern.
The off-the-shoulder design was divided into two dramatic sections by a sparkling drop waist. The upper half featured delicate white lace embroidered with black floral patterns, layered beneath sheer smoky tulle. Adding even more drama, the seams and neckline were finished with thick bands adorned with shimmering onyx gemstones.

The bottom half of the dress flowed into a sleek, jet-black pencil skirt that stretched all the way to her ankles. She completed the look with classic black leather pumps from Stuart Weitzman, perfectly matching the gown’s bold elegance.
Staying true to the original 1997 runway styling, Dobrev skipped a necklace and left her chest bare, allowing the dress to shine on its own. Her accessories were minimal but luxurious — a pair of silver diamond drop earrings and a single diamond ring.

For her beauty look, Nina kept things soft and modern. Her hair fell in loose waves, paired with a nude lip and the trending “invisible eyebrow” style, giving her a fresh and effortless glow.
With the official Golden Globes red carpet set to take place this Sunday at 6 p.m. ET, fans can expect many more iconic vintage moments — but Nina Dobrev has already raised the bar.
Stay tuned for all the latest red carpet looks as awards season continues to unfold.
