Andrew Orduen Ikon, known to his fans as OD Woods, is one of Benue State’s proudest musical exports. He was born and raised in Guma Local Government Area, where he discovered his love for music at an early age. He went through his primary and secondary school in Makurdi, always singing, always creating, never letting go of his dream.

After school, OD Woods moved to Jos, Plateau State, where he attended the National Film Institute. It was there that he recorded his first single, “Dreaming About You”.
OD Woods later headed to Lagos, where is the Nigeria’s entertainment capital. In Lagos, he worked with Soundcity, one of Africa’s major music production houses, and met producer Shizzy, a partnership that would change the direction of his music career. Over time, he collaborated with some of Nigeria’s biggest names, including Davido, Orezi, Ice Prince, Vector, and worked with producers like Dre, Beat, Phills, and Zil.
His breakout came in 2012 with the hit song “Go Below” featuring Davido. But OD Woods didn’t stop there. In 2016, he started his own record label called Wood House Entertainment. Then he also began the annual “Made in Benue (MIB) All White Party” in Makurdi, which is a celebration of Benue culture and pride.

OD Woods debut album, Ikonic, which includes 17 tracks, with songs like “Bem” quickly earned him recognition across social media. Today, OD Woods continues to make music that represents his roots, and his city. You can find his songs on streaming platforms like Spotify, YouTube music and Audiomack.
