Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VDM, has reacted to reality TV star Phyna’s viral outburst over her sister Ruth’s medical treatment following an accident involving a Dangote truck.

Phyna had earlier revealed that Ruth, who recently had her leg amputated, was initially promised medical evacuation abroad by Dangote’s representatives. Instead, she said her sister was transferred to Lagoon Hospital in Lagos, with officials later backtracking and insisting they would first seek medical advice before deciding on further treatment.
Frustrated, Phyna went public, accusing Dangote’s representatives of refusing to respond to her calls for more than 24 hours.
Reacting in a live session, VDM claimed Phyna had used and betrayed him. He recounted that after Ruth’s accident, Phyna reached out to him and he arranged a meeting with some of Dangote’s representatives. According to him, a formal meeting was scheduled with a lawyer for the following day, but Phyna failed to show up, saying she had instead gone with her own lawyer after Dangote’s camp allegedly expressed fear of working with VDM.
Despite feeling sidelined, VDM said he had warned Phyna to be careful, as he suspected foul play in how the matter was being handled.
Issuing a stern warning to Dangote, VDM declared that “Phyna’s sister must not lose her life, or all Dangote operations in Edo State will be stopped.”
He added a personal message to Phyna:
“Even though I have forgiven you, I just hope you have learnt that in this life you should be careful who you use. You used me, and now they are playing you. I forgive you and I still love you genuinely, and I hope your sister is taken care of.”
